Online application is possible with a passport, but when receiving the SIM card, you must bring your passport for identity verification at the store (located in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, Tokyo).

JB Voice SIM Purchasing Process
■ If you are receiving your SIM in-store, you can apply with just your passport.

Please purchase it one week in advance so you can pick it up as soon as you arrive in Japan.
